Hello! Normally I'd do this at the beginning of the month, but these are important things that need to get out of the way as soon as possible.
We realized that there would be an issue related to adoptions that we wanted to settle as fast as possible. There are times when family members are adopted out and the adopter does not ever end up making the application, or they disappear soon after, so we wanted to put a rule in place so that families can continue being close even after this sort of thing happened. As such, if a roleplayer does not make a character application of an adopted cat within two weeks, they are free to be adopted out again. If the adopter has created and played the character, but they disappear without a notice on the Intros and Goodbyes board, they also have two weeks to return before the character can be adopted out again.
With more members pouring in all the time, we are putting a rule in place regarding family member names in history. At this time, we ask that all members only put the names of family members if they plan on playing or adopting out the family members. This rule keeps names free and prevents confusion regarding family member names.
Finally, we will be editing the Ceremony thread in order to add in a few requirements for apprentices to become warriors. These requirements will cover all four Clans (though some Clans might have added requirements), and they are as follows:
*Each apprentice must have at least two training threads: one in hunting and one in fighting.
*Each apprentice must go on at least one patrol.
*Each apprentice must have a thread speaking to their ancestors (we'll be adding ancestor application + rping boards at a later date, so don't worry about this too much until we start getting dead cats).
*Each apprentice must have at least one assessment covering hunting and training.
Alternatively, if a real life month passes and the apprentice has not accomplished the above list of threads for whatever reason, they may receive a warrior ceremony.
