OOC Rules
1. If you are under the age of 13, leave the forum until your 13th birthday. ProBoards' Terms of Service requires this.
2. Even if you are above the age of 13, if you cannot handle mature themes (sexism in CavernClan, politics/religion/other topics in the chatbox), then this might not be the forum for you. While everything is kept civilized here, we do allow discussion on controversial topics, and we will not stop it just because one person does not like it. We will stop it if it dissolves into childish arguing, however.
3. Chatspeak is not acceptable here. "brb" and "lol" are fine, but "u", "r", and "y" make us look incompetent and incapable of typing out a few extra letters. This applies to the chatbox and the boards.
Character Creation Rules
1. All characters are to be played on a single account. You may create as many characters as you can handle.
2. We accept only realistic eye colors and pelts here. Every character must have a fairly balanced personality (no more than two traits off in each category). Only canon names are accepted here, with a few exceptions: we have a list of them in the Pending Applications board, and we are always accepting suggestions for them.
3. Characters may be non-binary and/or non-heterosexual. Every Clan has different tolerance levels for this, so please consult the "Clan Traditions" guide for more information.
4. If you are playing a kit or apprentice, you may not choose your character's future warrior name. That's the duty of a leader.
Roleplay Rules
1. Liquid time applies here. Your characters may be in as many different threads as you can handle.
2. Characters may not commit suicide, harm themselves, have sex in roleplay (fade to black--no one wants to read cat porn), rape others, or be incestuous. These topics are generally considered above the PG-13 maximum rating of ProBoards.
3. Warriors are supposed to be loyal to their Clans. That said, forbidden relationships are allowed with permission from an administrator. We keep track of how many forbidden relationships are going on. If you're denied this, we'll put you on a waiting list. We'll message you when your turn is up.
4. Cats do not have to be mates to have kits.
5. All roleplay posts need to be a minimum of 50 words. While the plugin for this doesn't work on mobile, it's expected that you will respect this rule nevertheless.
6. In the Clans, only warriors may breed. While it is realistic for cats as young as four months to be able to breed, this stretches things quite a bit within the Warriors world. In the case of loners and rogues, they may start breeding at twelve moons.
