 Sixteen years ago, Earth fell into ruin. Only to rise once again as Gaia, the All-Knowing Earth Mother.
Zombies have taken over the planet in an apocalypse due to an unknown, unregistered variant of the flu. Most called it the Phoenix virus because of how people seemed to rise again, but they were always different. It hadn't become apparent until those affected with the Phoenix virus became unnecessarily violent started attacking others and Turning them.
The Order of the Gray has started to take over part of the United States, but where they are most apparent is The Forgotten City, the only safe city left in the world. There, both they and the Black Minotaur are locked in a fierce battle over who would rule that city. The Black Minotaur, the classic villains and Half-Turned, want to rule the world in a fierce tyranny, where the zombies could legally bite and Turn everyone. Where the Order of the Gray just wants a world safe from danger.
